The Goal
The goal of Books for Better is to collect primarily book donations, although funds are accepted as well, in order to give to public libraries in less fortunate communities. The end goal is to inspire people to find joy, inspiration, and help, through books.
Founder
Hi, I'm Maya, and a sophomore in high school, living outside of Boston, MA. I have always been an avid reader, eager to get my hands on anything with a title. The first book series I ever fell in love with was The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer in 2nd/3rd grade. I'm passionate about learning different languages and cultures, specifically French, Latin, and Ancient Rome.
How to Help
Books for Better would greatly appreciate almost any donation; time, funds, and especially books. Books for Better recognizes many people are not in the position to donate books or funds, instead we encourage you to support your local library, and donate your time to volunteering. Any donated funds are greatly appreciated and will go to a library in need. Preferably, the books are gently used and appropriate for library donations.
